I like Teva Sandals
Teva is relatively new name in the footwear world. A man named Mark Thatcher, a rafting guide at the time, invented Teva sandals. He created the revolution with Teva footwear, but he wasn’t aware of that at the time.
While he was working as a rafting guide, he needed a good pair of shoes to wear. There were only few shoes that could be worn while being engaged in rafting and other water activities. Sneakers would become heavy when wet and would take days to dry and thongs (the only kind of sandal available at the time) would slide off feet very easily.
In the beginning however many of those who began to wear these sandals would complain of problems relating to the thong style strapping There was a new and universal system being made and the new strapping was quite comfortable. Today the strapping system now consists of three sections. The toe post, the heel strap and the side strap all of which are connected together by triangular rings and each strap is then able to go through one side of the ring so making them much more comfortable to wear and causing fewer problems in relation to foot problems.
The first new design to come off the production line was known as the Hurricane and this particular model now acts as the basic design for all Teva sandals that are produced today. The Hurricane was a great success and that is the best selling model from Teva. All summer footwear from Teva is being made with two layer sole that has one inner sole inside
Teva uses microbian zinc to prevent odors that are a usual thing when it comes to sports footwear. It is made out of three separate sections: Toe post, side strap and heel strap.
Today, you will find that Teva Sandals are a division of Deckers Outdoor Corporation and their name means Nature in Hebrew. Teva sandals are still used for river activities but are also popular as fashion items on their own.
